Revitalized business through a combination of cost reduction initiatives ($4.0m in G&A, $3.5m in manufacturing) and targeted business development combined with product line expansion.
Implemented (SAP Based) business information systems and processes creating ability to view product customer and profitability.
Redesigned and implemented Opportunity Management Business Process using cross-functional business team. Technology resources more productively employed against a real $50m target position. (Closed greater than $15m new business in 1998).

P&L responsibility for three businesses focused on Industrial Customers in North America. Sales $75m, with three factories providing Powder and Packaging Coatings and Sealant Products.

Focused commercial efforts toward major OEM's to simplify the business and improve profitability. Overhead reduced 40%, manufacturing direct labor cut in half as the product lines were trimmed to one third previous size. Delivered $2.0m profit turnaround in first year.
Created a new packaging business unit; identified strategic targets to exploit Courtaulds European technology; achieved first closure for new business in 1995 representing $2.0m in annual sales.
Led introduction of new Sealant Products generating $4.0m annualized sales in the first year.
Completed closure of a non-strategic plant. Led integration of Canadian Business into US Operating units without loss of business, delivering in excess of $3.0m profit.
