Directed a 550 person four plant manufacturing organization including materials management, engineering and regulatory affairs for a $100m specialty chemicals business.
FMC Corporation, Chicago, IL ( Prior to 1983) After graduation as a chemical engineer grew through a series of assignments ranging from process and project engineering, Production and Plant management, R&D Group Leader, Business Planning and Product Manager.
As Product Manager delivered a new product in partnership with a key customer generating $4m new sales in first year.
Developed and patented a new process, sold management on a $14m capital investment and led project team to design, build and start up a new plant based on this technology
